"Small place...Big taste So it's not fancy or trendy but the nostalgic feel is real as is the old time comfy family service. The food excellent and most from scratch and really affordable. Took home pies from out of this world yummy! Past the place many times but not open. After a chilly hike to Bordner cabin (must see!) saw the diner open with a full lot but plenty of parking so we stopped. Will never pass again and plan on making 45 minute trip often and soon again! Easy stop for rts 81 and 22."

"Place doesn’t look like much from the road but it’s a fantastic little hole in the wall place to get some breakfast or lunch she also makes really good pies. The wife and I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. The only thing is if it gets a little busy you may wait a couple extra minutes because it’s only Wendy and her daughter. 10/10 place"

"Food was amazing for breakfast. We paid 30 for 4 large meals and drinks. Would definitely go again. It does not look like much from the outside but don't be fooled by the cover. Enjoy a home made meal for what you would end up paying for fast food."

"Today was my first visit. What a great little “greasy spoon diner”! It’s very cozy, filled with regulars and the food is good and very reasonably priced. The service was very fast, I got my breakfast within 5 minutes of ordering it. There’s single seats at the counter or booths if you prefer, seats 4 people. Plenty of parking and conveniently locate off Rts 72 and 22. Give them try! I will definitely be back!"

"This place is a delightful trip back in time. We ordered breakfast. My sister got the western omelet, and I got the chipped beef on home fries. Everything was perfect, fresh, and an awesome value. Wendy was exactly what you need in a restaurant like this. So welcoming and efficient. The bonus part of our recent visit was a restored model "A" in the parking lot! We will definitely be back."

"If have been to FIG, you know there is nothing to eat in the area. Was tired of hotel breakfast after a week of it so me and few of my Soldiers ventured out to try something different. This place is the true hole in wall diner experience and highly recommend. You cannot find better breakfast food in the area for $12.50 and the hot cakes were huge and fluffy and had lots of blueberries. Will be back next time at FIG"

"Excellent food at a reasonable price with great service. What else is there to say? And, by the way, they are open Saturdays from 6-11am."

"So we bum-rushed this place with 16 people. They handled it all with grace and a smile. I got the meat lovers omelet special and it was excellent. She also never let me run out of coffee."
